One of the many hassles in travelling is the packing and unpacking part! There are two types of people – the ones who pack very light with a minimal set of clothes and shoes and the other who hoards everything in to a couple of suitcases whether they need those items for their trip or not. For women, there are certain things that are a necessity to pack in while travelling. Let us have a look at what is important to pack for a woman traveler.
Things to pack for women travelers:
- Appropriate clothing
Make sure to carry appropriate clothing depending on your travel destination, the weather there, its culture and people. What is considered acceptable in your country may be offensive in the destination you are going to. Also, ensure the clothing you carry is comfortable and can be mix and matched with your other dresses.
- Carry a backpack apart from your handbag
If you are planning to explore the destination on foot or are going to be walking around a lot, it is sensible to carry a backpack rather than your handbag as that will be more comfortable to carry throughout the day without putting to much pressure on just one side of the shoulders.
- Travel sized toiletries
Leave those big bottles of shampoos, conditioners and body washes at home and buy the small packs that available in the stores which are travel friendly. Even better would be to buy them at your destination and discard the containers there itself.
- Limited number of foot wears
You don’t really need matching foot wear for each of the clothes you carry. Pack only what is necessary and comfortable to wear throughout your trip. Maybe an additional fancy footwear can be packed if you plan on attending a sophisticated event or visiting a top-class restaurant in the destination.
- Portable and universal USB chargers
Even though your plan is to escape from your busy world, it is important to stay in touch with near and dear ones throughout your holiday so that they are aware about your whereabouts. Hence, always carry a portable and universal USB charger with you because you never know when your phone dies out on you!
